I think the color I used for transparency was gray, so it may look a little funny to people who don't have a browser that supports alpha transparency...

Some parts seem to have been made slightly transparent, if you want me to fix that, I can.

Wait... AOL has a browser? And it sucks so bad it didn't support transparent GIFs until recently?

Oh, wait. Nevermind.

It seems that it has done GIFs all along...but it still doesn't support transparent pngs.
Apparently, I am idiot.

In that case, you won't see the beautifulness of this:

nice tec9, by the by.

On the contrary...While my cable service requires me to use AOL to connect to the internet, using FireFox (even through AOL) is still faster, flashier, and better because of all the extensions and stuff.

So, I can see that because I use firefox for all of my browsing.

Nice pic, by the way.

Did you just smooth out the gun and then add some colors and blur the flame?

BManx2000

I smoothed the gun and made the flame from scratch using a combination of airbrush and smudge.

To do it in paintshop pro 8, you do save image then chose PNG click options then click run optimizer then do transperancy

I WIN. Definetly. EDIT: NO TRASP FOR YOU
Mancer: yes, you can do it with psp. When you're saving an image, each format has it's own optimizer. So go file>save as, select the format and click the optimizer button in the lower right corner, then follow the steps, they are self explanatory.
