edit2: Oh, thanks guys, I was kinda confused as to why most people thought it was so dark... I'll keep scrolling through scenery next time... As for this map, I can't really be bothered messing with it. :x

Its not bad... I kinda like it.. Its pretty dark though..

This map rocks.It's like flashback-jungle-cambodia mixed together with an alien like theme.The darkness makes it keen O_O And look at the shading..it's awesome.

Blue is alen enough to me.

Meep! The map is so dark that I am not sure where the polygons go to! This is the to of my D/L list!

I would think a more greenish shading would be more alienish, but it's a great looking map /\ /\.

It's a well made map, the darkness adding to the strangeness of the map.

It looks a bit wierd though that everything is blue except the gostek,
maybe cover the map in a translucent blank blue scenery.

Better yet, tinge the blank scenery blue in map maker, set the transperancy setting to around 10-20%, then extend it across the map.
Could slow slower PC's, but meh...

Eh... I don't get it, I even set the contrast and brightness to really low yet it's easy to see the edges, because of the rain... Or I just know the complete layout of the map, but I can honestly say I don't understand. Scenery... Yes, I put very little in, but I tend to be against using custom scenery for some unknown reason, and I don't like to put too many crates/barrels in because they get abused by campers... Other than that, what kind of scenery could/would you put in a map like this? :/

Tinge some of the hanging foliage dark blue or some such color, and call it alien sludge.

There's an idea for ya.

I've played it now and I found out that it was FRIGGIN' AWESOME!
The colors are perfect, don't touch them.


And to everyone else: Don't be deceived by the crappy overly-dark picture, that's not the way it is in the game.

as you can see in the news on www.soldat.pl Soldat will be in a TV Gaming league in germany.
i will be one of the admins of the league together with skc.wyros.
we are now searching a custom map for the mappool and this one seems optically and gameplayilly (o_O) very interesting. can i add it to the candidates for a vote?
