When you are playing through a router/network hub, and oyu want to see if there are "local" servers, does it work when the radio button is set to Local and oyu hit Request Servers?

My answer : No, it doesn't, yet it clears the lobby...

Eh, so I am not the only oe with the problem. Michal said something about a server code that was going to fix that, I hope it fixes the Local LAN too.

guys, there is no local LAN lobby. On the internet there is a server computer that just sits there and keeps track of internet games. If you read what he said in your post or whoever's a while back, he said that he could give you the lobby server code if you wanted to set up a local lobby to keep track of lobby games.

There is no local lobby unless you specifically run a program to act as one.
