Hmm.. i just installed directx9 but everytime i start up Soldat it says Error initializing 3d hardware. Your hardware does not support directx 8, Now using hardware... ? wtf?
Im running Windows 2000 and i cant find the latest driver for my video card or display adaptor..? Anyone help me in finding it?

Has Soldat worked before? Has it ever worked with your graphic card?

im not sure, but if i remember right Soldat wont work on that vodeo chipset.. but im not 100% sure...

i have windows 98se before and it was a sys graphics card, it worked with that and now ive got this second hand coputer with the ati graphics card and it doesnt work.

I don't think the Rage series supports DirectX 8... I tried on an old Rage II+ and it didn't work.

well, i played soldat witj ATi Rage Pro Turbo 8Mb
it didn't support Alpha Transparency..

Psssst.. A signature may consist of both text and an image, but in this case, text may not consist of more than 2 lines, and 43 characters in length. The text in question should be aligned directly above/below the image to keep your signature small.
The first line in your sig has 57 characters :p

I had read forum rules and made my sig according to them, but that rule is new, maybe from the latest server change or even newer. If forum rules change it should be clearly advertised.

That rule has been there long before I joined the forums, palloco. Besides, rules are subject to change without notice.

I'm just saying, the rules could change at any moment and you may not notice. The rules have been this way for quite awhile now, and it seems like palloco's situation has been solved.
I should hope that if there was a change, that everyone would be notified.

Ok, i've used the force software thing and i can start soldat, but when i enter a sever the screen is black but i can hear everyone else shooting..?
