The ability to bind commands to a key. For example, I want to bind the command /smoke to the 'Y' key, so that every time I hit y, I obviously have a smoke. Would be very useful for quick communication on the run, and would be more convinient then hitting ALT then another key.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind having an option like this
I think it can be done with a taunt editor but for some reason I can't get it to work, so if this option was implemented i'd just have:
p for piss, v for victory, k for kill, etc.

what about keys like v or something
to bring up a menu of optins to choose from
(like in other games) it's more easy that way

or you could type it in really fast :P
did you know that after typing /kill, if you tap / twice after that it will repeat it?
not really needed, but a good idea.

Yes, kind of like back in the days of Duke Nukem 3D where you could assign one key to perform many actions at once - jump, turn 180, throw pipe bomb, detonate pipe bomb.
