I'm not sure if this idea has been suggested yet or not, but I think it would be cool to have a Halo 2-style health mode. In Halo 2, your shields(health more or less) recover after a couple of seconds of not being hit by enemy fire. This would bring in a whole new gameplay mechanic, should I keep on shooting or hide and recover?

Actually, not that bad of an idea. But only half the health should be able to regenerate. Nut, there shuldn't be any health pickups in this mode.

Do the soldats have little suits and stuff on? No? Then why whould we put this in? We already have bullet proof vests. This isn't Halo.

I like the idea of health slowly regenerating but it could increase campers so nay.

Maybe in optionable...

And IMO Halo 2 has a retarded health system. The original Halo had it spot on, then bungie screwed it all to hell.

I personally like the Halo2 health system better, without having to worry about having low health and all that, but anyways back to this suggestion. It'd be nice, but I don't think it'd fit soldat. If I want to have the Halo2 health system I'll go play Halo2.

I think it could be good, but you'd probly have to try it out and just see what it was like. It would change the gameplay far too much to decide without having played it I reckon.

And just because the idea came from Halo 2 doesn't mean it's gonna turn Soldat into Halo. It's just a game mode idea, it doesn't matter where it came from.

We should be discussing variations of it too, like your health decreasing and regenerating when you get a kill. If Big M sees this and thinks it is worth trying at least, then we might end up with a fun new game mode next version. If we continue to get "no"'s then we might as well tell MM to stop working on Soldat and resign ourselves to the fact that we're gonna get bored of the same gameplay and eventually move away from the game.

ya the half health thing is a good idea, but it would heal very slowly....

I love Halo 2 but this kind of health don't belong in Soldat too hard to kill ppl.
