Ok, 3 guys were renting a motel room for the night. the guy at the desk charges them 30$ for the night. so thats 10$ apiece.
A few moments later the guy at the desk thinks he charged them too much. So he decides to give them back 5$, he hands it to the bellboy and tells him to go up and give this 5$ to those guys.

On the way up the bellboy decides to keep 2$ and give each of those guys bac 1$ apiece.

Ok so that leaves the guys paying 9$ apiece, 9x3 = 27 and + the 2 dollars the bellboy kept = 29, wheres the other 1$ at??? Or am I totally missing something here??

The room was not 27$, as you so cleverly put it. It was 25$, since they were overcharged 5$

So 25 + the 3 dollars they each got back= 28.......+ the 2$ the bellboy kept = 30

So yes, each of the kids spent 9 dollars. 9 times 3 = 27.....minus the 2 dollars that the bellboy took, = 25, which is how much the room costed. You minus the 2, not add it.

2 poor men walk to the bar with their life savings of 60$.

but i always thought only 2 poor men walked into a bar dropping 20$ each and the third one ducked....

therefore only 1 made it back to the motel, but what was he to do by himself. If he payed 10$ for instant 1 hour access to the motel. He came back with another dude from the bar and was charged another 9$ for the night. The manager later remmebered it was buy one get one free so he went to the guys room in room 678 and gave guy #1
$4.50. Guy #1 who ducked gave him 50$ back as a tip for remembering about the offer leaving him with $4 dollars in his wallet.

Later that evening after paying for the hospital bill of 90$ in total it put the other 2 men in debt. They decided to rob the motel The men then went back to the hospital to pay their bill. Unfortunately the manager had pulled a fast one and got them caught by the police. The police managered to find every last penny on the men except a fourth of their total money from the night. O and one last thing, the manager had managed to keep the 1/2 of all the money he had because it was hidden.

How much money did all three guys end up at the end of the night?

This was meant to have bad grammar and not make sense, but there is an answer.
