last night i saw it for the first time with high hopes. i have to say, while it was an ok movie. i couldnt figure out why people loved it so much. discuss.

it was a very low budget movie and one of quentin tarrantino's first movies (or the first.) it has drugs, booze and money! and a good story too. and a guy getting his ear cut off and lots of blood. and a nice ending. i wonder if that mr. pink got away with the money or if he got caught by the cops..

Did you know that they had real life paramedics watch during shooting to make sure that the amount of blood was accurate? That's a LOT of blood!

The soundtrack was finominal.

did you notice how that one guy didnt have a gun pointed at him at the end, but died anyway? that part pissed me off. [IMAGE]ing editors

I liked this movie, and i thought it had kinda the same feel as Pulp Fiction somewhat, although the plots were pretty dissimilar. Pulf Fiction is a great movie :P

Pulp Fiction>Reservoir Dogs. Reservoir Dogs was good, but wasn't as funny as Pulp Fiction.

No, I agree with Fangus. Although is was supposed to be a quirky spoof on old anime movies, terantino didn't take it far enough and just ended up with new crap.

I liked the cheesy blood effects. Those were hilarious.
