my roomate spent about an hour looking into this the other day... dogs have a very strong fight or flight survival instinct, so it isnt like they were suicidal or anything. There is nothing out of the ordinary that would make the dogs percieve that there is more walking distance than there really is (ill post some pics of the bridge later, we dug some up online). Even if the dogs' perception was outta whack, they still wouldnt have acted how they did. They didnt just causually run or walk off the edge by accident or anything, the owners would be walking their dog, and the dog would pull and pull and struggle to get away from the owner and run off the bridge.

It happened 5 times in the past 6 months. The owners of the property and the building nearby think that it has deep religious implications, as there is a lot of religious history having to do with the bridge and the building that is on the property. I'll post more after i get the info from my roomate again.
