It says when i try to start the game that "your hardware does support directx 8" When it does... any help would be great! thanks!

System Specs: CPU Speed, Video Card and driver version, and total RAM?

cpu= p4 1.40 GHz (god i know)
GC= geforce4 ti 4200 64 MB (DX8.1)
RAM= 1 gig rdram 4x256
drivers= latest drivers

Roll back your Nvidia drivers to version 4x.xx, otherwise, turn off your anti-aliasing.

I have the same problem except I have a voodoo 3300 agp card, using the latest amigamerlin drivers. I'd like help if anyone knows how to fix.

Make sure you have anti-aliasing off.
