I've had two incidents, worth noting (I am sure this topic has been done before, but maybe there are some new experiences that some of you would like to share.

The first one was a couple of days ago. I was playing a Zombie match in the arena, vs. 20 Zombies on Bravo team. I got into the lower section, where a bunch of Zombies were, and just before I ran out of jet, I thought, "Well, I've got time to toss all of these grenades and start firing before I hit the ground, after which I will probably get slaughtered." So, I started blindly chucking grenades. The first one blew me upward a little. "Ok," I thought. "This means I have a couple of extra seconds to get some kills in." Then, the second one blew me across, and away from that group, and towards a smaller one. The third grenade I threw hit those, and knocked me up again. I [IMAGE]ed up on the 4th nade and ended up killing myself, but I liked the little juggling act I had going for a couple of seconds.

The second incident: I was playing a CTF server, and the map was ctf_chernobyl. I was running away from a couple of people from the opposing (Bravo) team and spraying with the MP5. As I got over the bunker on the Alpha team side, I blindly tossed a grenade. When I landed, I was not only on the other side of the bunker, but I was near the flag, where I was unable to see what happened. Suddenly, I got the "You have killed so and so" message. Talk about beating the odds.

Juggling like that is fun,and lucky..except yes,it usually ends up getting killed.:P

Random nades happen all the time,once I got a triple..

once i got a multi kills x3...
then i got kicked.

I mostly use nades defensive or as a last resort....
When I have clusters I use them ASAP....
I've had many a lucky kill with nades on DM games.

i use nades like a secondary weapon, they are so damn awesome, you just have to know how to use them, such as tossing the behind you when you see someone in front of you, then throwing one straight down, theyre bound to hit one of them. and if they dont, theyll be too busy dodging them to be able to keep from getting shot

Wow, that was a horrible paragraph right there. Grammatically speaking.

But I know exactly what you mean.... I often use them like that as well... When I die and still have grenades, I feel stupid... I always use them soon, they are handy against large groups...

Example, CTF game:
Throw nades in their base, then rush in with the M79, try to get an extra kill and get out of there with the flag...

nade jumping is fun. lol

cluster nades are so much fun zombie servers...
chuck one down and WHOOSH! 3 corpses go flying by with a deep satisfaction!

I don't think I have ever killed anyone with a nade. Most of the time I end up forgetting where they land...until 3 seconds later when they blow up under my feet.

Heh, I remember a pro kill with a grenade. Well, it wasn't pro, but it was lucky, which is why I remember it. You know in ctf_viet, at the far right end of Bravo's base, where the map ends and a tunnel curves back below the base? I was a Bravo and was chasing an Alpha off there. I lobbed a grenade just as he was going off the ledge, he rolled off it and it flew straight past his head. He had maybe a half-second of flying through the air and thinking "That was a PRO dodge!". Then the grenade bounced off the wall behind him and pulverised him.

I will mark that as the most satisfying kill I've ever gotten with a grenade.

Best & easiest tactic : Throw the nade just infront of the incoming enemy so they run into the grenade, also shoot at the same time while doing this usually kills most players unless there good :D

was playing equinox and a grabed a cluster and wiped it straight down, it broke apart and shot rite back into my face...was pretty funny at the time

i used to be pretty good with nades... i could aim into bunkers whilst jetting across the sky with the quickness and firing at the same time. that was in the ol' 1.5 tho...man, where has the time gone? now, i suck, but still love grenades. i figure grenades are better than health.
