Is this a good idea and would anybody play i it?

Have a box shape with a a floating island with a turret on it and thats the oly place you can get health

Seems over-used amongst many mappers that start out. I had the same idea for my first map, except that I made the one island you start out on hurt you, so deathmatch went a tad faster :P I agree with MercyM. This is too much of an overused idea. Maybe expand on your idea and make more than one island that players could jump on for cover, etc. Using your central island with the turret, expand on the idea. That's how I make all my maps. They revolve around one main poly-group-shaped-thing.
