Oooh, a music thread!
Grade 8 clarinetist and saxophonist here. That's 8 years and 6 years respectively. Also, I can play Yekkety Sax, quite possibly the best tune ever written.
Also, I play your mother.

Been a drummer for five years, though I got my drumset eight years ago.

In grade 8 I played the violin in the school's string music class... I wasn't very good.

Drummers unite. What kinds of kits do you have guys? Big, small...basic trap kits?

Im in a band and i can play guitar, bass, and drums (im alright at drums). I also played clarinet for like 4 or 5 years in school.

9 years of tenor saxophone and i can play yakkety sax on sticky's mum. i also play the ukulele and the banjo ^_^

i stopped purusing musical talent after 8th grade unfortunately, I regret it seriously now. the only instruments i play well now are the computer keyboard and a dremel

I'm playing medieval and renaissance music instruments ( lizard, lute, bladder pipe, dulcimer, psaltery, shofar, gamba, gemshorn, ... ) for my hobby. Still need to play a few more instruments to make my job out of it once.

Green Berret, play the fiddle instead. much more fun, same as violin and just as sophisticated :P

I was taught to play a recorder in Elementary School, although if I tried at this point, I might as well be trying play a trout. A really noisy trout.

I also own a nice ceramic ocarina because I'm a Zelda fanboy, and I mess around with that every once in a good while.

I used to play the drums but I lost interest. The piano before that. Music isn't my strong point. Art isn't either. ;_;

I play the bagpipes. The lochness monster told me to do so ;<

Yeah, I play in an orchestra as well, it's really good fun... There're alot of nice people in it, and beeing one of the better male violin players in it also gives a sort-of kick ;D

use to play piano.. wish i still did.. use to play rag time a lot, and many grade 6/7 tunes.. my mum is a piano teacher, but also a [IMAGE], thus meaning she kicked me uot of my house and living with my dad for a year this gold cup week! but yea, so no access to a grand piano anymore, well any piano for that matter.. ah well

I always regretted not having some kind of musical education, so recently started to try to learn composing midis, and that's as far as i'll get probably :P

i play with the homeless in the park. i've made money that way, we have great harmony til some tourist comes and says we shouldnt be there. then just about everyone stands up and frowns. i piss myslef when this happens
