I love its purpleness...i was aiming for a "cold" look though, since my facination with the viking culture comes from the cold north where they live...Meh. Love teh purple! Changing siggy!

Teh story:
Alright hes how this all began...one day I was in the artic skiing with my cousin and my mom and I found an amulet after having fallen right on top of it. The amulet had simply come through the ice and been exposed over years of hibernation. I brought it to the museum back in California and they said that what I had there was a nordic viking medallion given to warriors of their civilization to wear and help protect themselves in battle. I thought "how totally barbaric, and wicked!" Unfortunately I didn't take it home. (meh :( ) But the museum did translate what it said:

(This was in runes carved along the outside)
"Expose the one who wear such a piece,
For he is the ever lasting warrior,
Of peace and of sorrow,
Let him be free of pain everlasting."
On the back it said other things:
"Norse, the gods protect you in death,
As when you fight they likewise,
Protect you with their might."

Then in one sentence it proclaimed:"You Odin's only son, be the bearer of this jewel[amulet]."

And with those words I still use Norse as my name, for it reminds me that I am Odin's son, a god of the nordic vikings.
