i think it had a well thought out plot line, i really felt like i was pulled into the story, and at the end of it, i think there was a tear in my eye...so sad

Hmm, I don't think you guys reviewed the right map... CTF_Haul has some major glitches which i'm still trying to work with.

I suggest, if you wish to review one of my maps, that you check out INF_Lighthouse, ctf_Forge, The Throne, or INF_Rescue.

Soldat Magazine... Hmm... This is to go to my favorites.

Get rid of the cartoon section
Add something on coverage of CW's for Leagues, or maybe even something covering League's
Probably do some more interviews.

awww you already made an inf_rescue map? darn, now I have to find a new name for the one I have in planning for the Timeline project...

Have "Mod Reviews" replace the cartoon. That's all that this is missing, everything else is very professional.

Chakra and TheLink had done something like this once.. Although theirs was a soldat newspaper .. Anyhow, it didn't last very long :Q

Just keep it going and it will be awsome, I love the interview idea. Maybe Michal will let you interview him one day :P

It would be cool if you had non-departmentalized articles. Like someone could write something about weapons, or strategies, or just whatever. Im talking about the main part of a magazine: the rest is just monthly departments. you need a cover story, or something. You know what articles are. Make them interesting, like in real magazines. there are endless topics. "Barretts: Unfair or Just Annoying?" "Rekindling Your Passion for the Chainsaw." "AK74 vs Minimi." "Top 10 Reasons to Play Soldat." "Rambomode: Forgotten Fun."
you could have polls, user-submitted articles and letters, and a user-submitted picture section, featuring the best screenshot of the month.

I could write articles if you wanted.

Because we've only completed our first issue, that section is empty, but I'm sure you can fill it up for us. ;)

I think a Soldat E-zine is a great idea. The interview with Kazuki was really interesting. You guys did a great job, especially for a first issue. Keep it up cuz I'll keep readin.

P.S. You should have an interview with Michal :)

We're still continuing to recruit though, the thing is with online magazines like these, there's always a few dozen of people signing up, but never doing anything after that.
We need to have plenty of writers to ensure that even if only a few of them submit anything, we still have enough to fill an entire magazine with.

What do you think how long this magazine will survive?
Soldat isn't that large that an Online magazine is necessary and i think many people will just be too lazy to read it like me.

I think it's gonna last as long as everyone keeps working like we are now.

I believe that if everyone keeps with it. and they have regular readers. the E-zine should last a pretty long time. I for one have loved the idea. So I will become one of the regular readers.
