how do i play the movies, none of them i try only plays the music to the videos.

Download VLC (VideoLanClient). It lets you play pretty much every common format.

It is, but instead of getting all the necessary codecs (DivX, XviD, MS codecs etc.) you can just use VLC.

zoldat, the DivX player comes bundled with ad/spyware last time I checked.

Why not try the BSplayer

It's the best and it's made in Slovenia (it plays a lot of formats besides it has support for subtitles)
