What kind of button configuration do you use? I'm curious. Do alot of you use the default config?


I got mine like this:

Arrow Up: Jump
Arrow Down: Crouch
Arrow Left/Right: Left Right

Left Mouse: Fire
Right Mouse: Jets
Mouse Wheel(Click): Change Weapons
Mouse Wheel(Scroll): Throw Weapon

Ctrl(Near Arrows): Grenades
0(Number Pad): Prone

Insert: Talk
Home: Team talk
Page Down: Reload
Tab: Weapons Menu


It would be really nice if the Back and Forward buttons on the side of my mouse(Pinky and Thumb) could be hotkeyed. Is there any way to do that?

Can you guys think of anyway I can improve my setup? I am left-handed, that is something I have to consider.

I use standard.. but I learned how to use spacebar for nades, I might try it again later.

Up: Jump
Down: Crouch
Left/right: Left/Right
L Mouse: Fire
R Mouse: Nade
M Mouse: Change
Shift: Jets
Del (Numpad): Prone
0 (Numpad): Reload
Enter: Weapons' Menu
- (Numpad): Chat
+ (Numpad): Team Chat

err mine is:

up: up
down: crouch
left/right: left/right
left mouse: fire
right mouse: jets
scroll - change weapon
ctrl - nade
0 (numpad) - throw weapon
1(numpad) - prone

and thats about it, although im probably going to change throw wep to scroll click, you sure you can hotlink that?

Mine is the default.

I got the default. But you other guys Controlls seems to be very difficult! And have u tryed the default ones?

The only change ups I have made is prone is now spacebar, mouse wheel scroll is reload and mouse wheel click is throw.

i don't even know what the default is i havn't used it since 1.0.3b or whatever that version is that i joined on i forget lol but i use
awsdz - left/jump/crouch/right/prone(havn't done that in about half a year lol)
left shift for nades
q - reload
e change wep
f drop wep
right enter - type
./del - team chat
and left mouse fire and right jets ofc

Mouse work is the standard ;-) For me, arrow keys are too close to the mouse...

my right click is to fly and throw nades. good combo, but sometimes defective. (you killed yourself)

The numpad 1 throw is kind of awkward since you can only move one direction(2 if moving up)if you are using your pinky to hit it.

I have a laptop, so it's going to be weird for you guys...

I use the default, but scroll-click seems good for throwing weapons, you can only go 1 way on default since you need a finger to reach over to hit F.

Bassicaly the default, I like having my hands spred out so i hav some room between my two arms (im on an iBook). And I think it's easy to use my thumb to hit space for nades

grenade : s
crouch: space bar
move: wad
reload: r
weapon switch: mouse wheel
throw wep: mouse 3

i came to those after changing a few times.
maybe u want to copy me knowing this.

I use default with space for nades. I think he should change space to nade for default. ;]

Z - throw grenades

Space - Change weapon
U - Reload
X - prone
