it would be cool if we could personalize our flags in INF and CTF, and maybe PM too, to be an image of our choice, say our clan logo.

You can mod it a little already I think, it only works with PM flag for all I know. But... then if you could, people would make the flag HUGE so they always know where the flagger is. But then you could have the size kept to whatever the size is now. Just make sure it isn't FILE size, I mean dimensions.

How about,like how someone said country flags beside your name,but clan or personal flags instead?
Someone could make a program to edit them,easily,instead of mspaint or whatever

To be honest I do wonder what it would add to the gameplay.

perhaps, it could be your country, going hand-in-hand with michal's idea.
you press f1 and you see tour host's country (and anyone elses, for that matter) and depending on where they're from, you get their country's flag as your own

you should be able to have a flag that you carry around thats 10x10 pixels big i like this idea would be easier to see who's on your team if there are 2 people that look exactly the same

i like the idea of customizing flags, sounds cool

nationality flags for soldat is ok, but might generate racism

as for a personal flag, could get confusing on ctf ect, but would be fun on DM

If you open soldats main folder you can probably change the flag yourself.
Its not hacking. It just modding. Im learning how to program and well when I get way better i'd like to help make Soldat2 if you were wanting to.

I don't like a bump with one word or two, but now I have to bump an old topic because I've already made a pic of it. I think an emblem of the flag will be a good stuff for modders.

sry to say; it's quite the contrary. i use the '...' a lot to express (and therefore giving a better sensation and better interpretation of what i say) myself using them '...' - for me, it represents a little moment of thoughtful silence. it represents short little thinking time...

and at the end, it usually means that what i've said should be thought about (by the reader) for an additional 4 seconds or so to fully let the meaning of what i said sink in properly...

Please, don't revive old topics. But I would like to see this idea...

me too...it's on the game mode territories. when you control an area it puts your emblem on the flag(im talking about halo 2)

Still good, nonetheless.

but in theres only 1 flag in the game folders... and its white! colour changes in diffirent game modes

Perhaps it will be able to be utilized by KIng of the Hill in the same way. And I guess soldat\Objects-gfx\flag.bmp is a legacy pic or other thing.
