I dunno what you said, but sometimes lag makes your grenade invisible. It can't really be helped.

But to answer your problem:

Lapis is right, lag can make grenades invisible (though sometimes they just do damage to you even when you can see them somewhere else).

As for being able to walk on walls, that's just a minor glitch that can be taken advantage of every once in a while (like on ctf_equinox) but it isn't that big of a deal.
