CTF Kinfaun - Castle Map (updated again)

Recently I made a very neat castle-wall texture out of a pic i have found, and decided to make a map with it, to see if its useful.

The result is ctf_Kinfaun (Kinfaun is a small scottish castle which doesnt even look close to the map nor is it surrounded by water, but the name is nice), which turned out as an -imo- quite atmospheric and very fastpaced map.

*Map updated, more sceneries for a more connected look, bouncies fixed. Overview updated again.*

*Overview updated, flag and player spawns marked*

*Bouncies fixed, new entrance to lower way, less jetfuel, new colliders*

but, could u add something in the middle? maybe some island, or thick fog?
and where are the stat. guns? :)

because I think that stat guns are sucky, I wont add em :P

the middle is fine as is, imo, i want it to be that open, so both ways are equal ;)

I really like this! It has a really castle-liek feel to it.

Only one problem, could you please add some supports that make the floating islands look attached? I hope to see this map on seb's pub :D

There's a lot of bouncy polys, most of which are on the bottom middle part.

Please, PLEASE hurry with the waypoints, and fix the bouncyness.

Otherwise great map, love it.

That is an excellent map, the texture is nice and the basic ideas for this map is really good.

it looks raw in this version but the layout has a potential. there aren't many indoor maps and i like to enter a structure and another mood. fast run then inf_fortress-ish tactic will happen, it must be fun.

there's some umm. texture glares and scenery doesn't have much. plants, junks or something assemblied could be nice for decoration.
poly putting is done by low polygon and i like it. but bouncy ground exists.

Ooo, nice map... I do wish you'd put in stationary guns though, maybe on the roof or something. If you don't like them just uncheck the 'turret guns' box in the options thingee :-P Map does have a unfinished look, there's noplace to hide behind trees or anything... maybe some hanging lights or something that you could camp on with a barret ;)

Its a good map alright, but, well, it isn't the best that I've seen from you GD, the main path looks like it could be defended by a single guy spamming with the barret, as well as all the other paths...

Suppose hypothetically that somebody wanted to borrow that texture for a future project at some point. If he asked nicely, would you let him do it?

Good job on the texture, it looks good. I find it a bit too bright though.
The layout of this map is plain and it feels empty. I would add giants chains from each sides to the middle part and make that part darker too...
Lots of bumpy polygons on the lower part, but it's not that of a problem since it's all flat. The fog doesn't look good in my opinion, no big deal.
It could be better with some more original sceneries. It doesn't really feel like a castle so far. :P
There's potential though, it's up to you now.
Good job anyway.

Another update:

- Bouncies fixed, finally
- The bridge is now broken, means another way to access the lower way from the upper side
- 2 bigger colliders added in the upper middle part
- less jetfuel
- Screen updated
