Ive got this problem that soldat freezes, its not after a certain time, but i just keep repeating the sound and the screen freezes, after a few seconds i cant move my mouse, i dont get any errors, and ctrl-alt-del and/or alt-f4 doenst work
my pc:
p4 2,8ghz
ati radeon 9600xt
512 mb ddr ram
windows xp sp2
epox motherboard: with onboar ac97 soundchip
running in the back:
ati catalyst (videodriver)
ac97 soundcard driver
avg virus scanner

I get the same problem. >.> Just random freezing right?

yes...nothing works any more, only the mouse you can move, but there is no way to get back to windows or get soldat to run again

I'v got same problems, but i use usb mouse and keyboard. Sometimes every locks without, run, jump, and fly buttoms...ex. and i must restart soldatalt+f4. I hope u find a answer somewere !

I've got ac97 on my old computer and i dont have any problems with that. Whay shold thats be the problems ?
Did Ya use USB keyboard or mouse ?

Like i sad before my problem is that the keyboard frezze without the buttom i use on the player.
Questens:
* Have u try "alt+tab" when everything freezing ?
* Re-install the game ?
* try to disable the AC97 in bios and try the game "look if it happens then"
* Update the hardware/software on ya computer ?
* if u use usb mouse/keyboard try to a orginal keyboard with orginal kabel.

this never happened to me for some reason........my computer is only 733mhz and soldat wrks fine...

everything is update hardware is fast enough and all drivers and software are updated, no virusses

is use usb mouse but i cant try another because i dont have 1, the keyboard ps/2

Well, tell me how the BIOS portion goes. I have an AC97 but I haven't had any issues with it, I use PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard, though I don't know if they'd cause this sort of problem.

Sorry, dont know how that works, but i found out this:
Ive played soldat for 3 hours with no problems, than i started it again put on the music (necroman..what his name) ingame. And than i crashes 2 times behind eachother, here is picture that with that error that i got, dont know if any use
