How would I do it? I have demos, Windows Movie Maker, all that. But how would I convert the demos to files insertable into Windows Movie maker?

Download Fraps 1.9. It's a free version of it and is suitable for older comps, but it doesnt record the sound. If you really want sounds you could download the latest fraps, but its a shareware. Google for them.
While you play demos in soldat record it with fraps. Videos will be saved into Fraps folder as avi.
