Hello people! after trying to map, by randomly placing polygons everywhere, and not getting anywhere, i decided to check these here forums. And, i read all the tutorials, with were a hella lot of help! witch did, infact, help me create this, my first proper map, called Kailus.

Ive tested it out, with quite a few people, and it seems to work great, its good fun. Although, it isnt ideal for 1 on 1, it is rather big (not gynormose though).. So yes, constructive critism would be very much apreciated! and some general feedback! Thanks everyone!!!

As I said though, it needs more colliders :)

Pretty kick ass first map man! I like your use of colors (I'm partial to those colors, lol), and while I havn't seen your shading up close from playing the map things look cool. Excellent layout, I can already see the potential for a great DM map. Water looks a touch too blue, and more colliders would be nice (as was mentioned), but those things are minor when you're only on your first map.

Here are some things to consider:
*Learn to waypoint (makes your maps that much sexier)
*Learnign to use colors and transpareny with sceneries can add more depth
*Good shading can make the 2-D look almost 3-D with polys
*Getting a handle on the size of your map will help, 'cause huge DM maps can be bad. But, this one seems to work, so no worries. Just something to remember

That's all I can think of...good job for a first map.

THANK YOU! thats exactly what i was hoping for, some good contrcutive crtisism.. and yea, steelix i have added coliders, in places where it would be (ofcourse).. and geologist, i will definatly take consideration to the way sceneries are used, especialy seeing as your not the first person to mention. And waypointing, hmmm.. i really am stuck with this, and generaly have no clue atal.. i think i need to do some searching..

And The Geologist, do you have msn by any chance? if so, could you post your address, or PM me with it.. Would be very nice to have another mapper on my contacts to help me..

thanks alot everyone!
