I think they stopped them when they realized people would rather die watching their favorite shows then be interrupted by and warned by "beep boop blip".

I actually thought they were the coolest things ever and sat down to watch them whenever they were on...it's like the trash truck - most boring thing in the world, but every kid's face is plastered against the window when they come.

Lol, Indeed. I always thought they were annoying though :p I just miss em now cause it makes me feel old :p
