Yeah i install both the full and the patch, but when you have to pick where to install the patch do you go to c:/soldat? And if i do that i click on the icon and an error comes up C:\Soldat\Gostek-GPX\Badge.BMP And after i click okay to close it it goes to the internet games, then another error sound but no error pops up and the game closes

You have an old version of Soldat, or are updating using the patch.

Download the latest full version of Soldat (1.2.1). Uninstall yours and delete the Soldat folder. Install the latest version, restart, and you're good to go.

Yeah i fixed the badge.bmp problem. Now i have sound but no video, i know its working because i can hear the gun fire when i click, any ideas?

What video card do you have? Update the video card's driver to the latest version.
Check your version of DirectX as well (Start -> Run -> dxsetup.exe).
