Edit: curses. It's a text file. What do I do?

Needs shading, there's some tutorials around here that could help you out with that though. The layout doesn't look to bad, but I'm not too fond of the big blob in the middle.

Bmps are evil...

Please, use .JPEG or .GIF format because .BMP format is evil as paramud said and the screen takes times to load.

About the map:

-I understand that you dont shaded for your first map, I did the same thing too :P. There is two shading tutorials, take a look at grand diablo's Map Maker FAQ's;
-Annoying gameplay;
-A lot of empty spaces;
-Not a lot of colours;

MY ADVICE: Shading is one of primary points for maps makers, it change map from crappy to sexy, then shad.

The map layout looks quite ok, but the map definitely needs shading and some more scenery.
