i've made several maps but no one was good enough for releasing.
tell me what a good map is, and i'll create..

A good map needs:
Shading Good colors Good sceneries Fitting background Nice gameplay Most of good maps are CTF maps

best maps are climb maps. ;Q

nice gameplay also means that they are balanced so one team doesnt have advantages. the best is too mirror a map, then the teams are perfectly balanced.

I'm going to disagree with you, Avarax, pefectly mirrored maps get redundant and annoying. Also, infiltration maps should definitely not be balanced, but should allow a good team to score every once in a while.

Mercy, most played maps are ctf, but any map can be good if a lot of time is put into it.

i didnt say that they are best when mirrored, i said they are best balanced :P
i never mirror maps myself. none of my maps is. :P
