No mattar how hard I try, the little "rec" in the top right hand screen is always there. How do I make it go away?

is auto record on? check your soldat settings.

Config.exe > Performance > Auto record

or..

Soldat.ini > [GAME] > Auto_Record=0

are you using that one interface?

ive got same problem.
But I try "Config.exe > Performance > Auto record and save the settings..." but nothing helps... Do this.
* Re-install soldat and take away the soldat folder at c:
* Restart computer
* INstall soldat and TATTTA ! all works fine again.

What interface? And I checked the config, and it says its off. But in game its still up there.

If you are registered, make sure you edit the corresponding config file in Profiles\yourprofilename.

Last I knew that what you edit in the config file, is affected to all of the profiles. Could be wrong. But maybe an interface has an image on REC on it. That could be it also. Does Soldat Record the games though. Or is it just a visual error?

Yeah, there is an interface that has "REC:" in the corner... make sure that isn't the case.
