I've been making some maps recently, mostly climbing ones, and I don't have any problem with that. Anyway I just made a map called sketch land (the map looks like this, red starts on the Carmoil sign, blue is in the castle):
It's a ctf and it works well, just that the file is huge, so it takes too long to send it to people. When it was a jpeg it was only around 800KB, but when I change it to BMP its suddenly over 5MB. I guess I could just shrink the image down, and then scale it back up in the map maker but the image isn't square so the proportions would be off. So I was wondering if there's a way to lower the resolution, and file size, without changing the dimensions of the picture. Othewise im stuck with either a huge map file, or having to remake the whole thing using a scaled image.
That's it, thanks to anyone who knows how to do this.
