Well, here I made a nice looking desert map for infiltration and also a modification for ctf mode. It takes place in the eternal desert and is open at the top side. In the middle there is a camp with two towers that can be used for defence for Team blue (in infiltration mode). Team red's spawns are placed at left and right side of the map. The white flag is in the undergrund, beneath a nice looking sea ;) In CTF red team is on the left and blue on the right side.

Pretty nice map, I like the theme of a fortress in the desert.
The background could use a little more difference in top and bottom colours, and I think the shading looks flat in the lower areas of the map.
But otherwise this is a pretty good map.

I think you really need to liven up that bottom area. There's barely any shading at all down there.

I say change the bagckground colors, at least on of themm...

Yeah make it darker at the bottom no more! ..if u try with a too dark background the shading won't fit...
