I replaced the old explosions with two new ones..
"Nice Big" and "Big Blue"

I found made some louzy crap thanks to the net and made them cool and fixed them so it was soldat compatible.
I also replaced the blast sounds with new cool ones.
It wasn't to hard to make..

The big blue is just an inverted version of the Nice Big...and the explosions looks somewhat..milky

I think they look good

The big blue one needs alot of work.. The dark spots make it look somewhat flat. And, the quality is horrible. The 'Nice Big' one is okay. Keep trying.

On topic; The explosion is nice, however as mentioned, the blue lacks depth. Try a median filter or blur effect near the middle to help solve that.. or even just do a palette swap using your favorite graphic editing tool to maintain the lighting without causing the inverted light effect.

this is verry nice explosion. big blue could use some work. does it work online? :D

i preffer the explosions to be even

i got to hand it to you, Lapis..
When you first came here, i really hated your guts cause i thought you were one of those fools that olny wanted high rand and some posts.
but i was horrible wrong. you are a noble member of this forum and i hope you stick along for a long time, cause the forum has gotten a tad better since you joined. you have earned a great deal of respect since you started serving as moderator.


On topic; i'm not so good with hi-tech painting programs,, but i'll see what i can do.
