I would set it to 1280x1024 but I can't stand 60Hz.
EDIT:
Got 1152x864 now, I'll see if i can stand the 75Hz :)

If I would set the resolution higher I would need to use 60Hz. 60Hz really hurts your eyes :/

Changed it to 1152x864@75Hz. It's a bit blurrier though.

Hmm I've been at 60 Hz for a while now, why is a low frequency bad for eyes?

The screen will flicker more on a low Hz and that flickering just isn't good for your eyes.
