How to install:

i. Make sure you have the original soldat files installed.
1. Extract the .zip file into your SOLDAT FOLDER (eg, "c:\soldat").
2. Double-click on the file called "CSModConfig.bat".
3. Select the configuration you want and hit "Apply Settings".

How to uninstall:

The same way you would uninstall any mod - that is, have a copy of the original files and put them back.

What do you mean? It is a shotgun already...

i dislike the deagle icon in the interface...it doesnt go with the CS interface...

In the start menu go to "Run...", type "command" (no quotes), hit OK, then type "java -version" (no quotes) in the DOS window and press enter.
EDIT: Oh, and another thing. What does it say when you click on the .bat file?

I wish I knew how to make the weapon configurator thing to work...nice mod, really is one of the nicest CS mods out there, and beats mine because of the easy to swtich weapons and gosteks. BTW, I haven't downloaded it, but I'm assuming that the numbers in the registerred ionterface are like the ones form my i0n interface, right. The whole scrolling changing thing.

you really need to fix the mp5 weapon-gfx. It looks horrible ingame..

cant get the .bat thing to work either

I love this MOD. It worked once, but now I get "Error loading texture: C:\Soldat\SPARKS-GFX\JETFIRE.BMP". I've reinstalled Soldat several times, and it would work. But once I installed this MOD, I got that, and can't play.

Any idea why? I realy want to use this MOD.

Ok, i've narrowed it down to just the weapons. I can install the interface, no problem. But when I install a weapon, I get that problem. With some MODs it works (UT-MOD) and with others I get this error... Seriously, I wanna know why.

I said that because if you want to uninstall it you need them (some people were afraid of not being able to uninstall the Mecha soldat mod, I think). But it's a good idea to have them no matter what mods you use, because some mods overwrite different files and it would look odd if you had bits and pieces from more than one mod.

nah, my default is the halo2 or ut mod. so its actually any soldat file right? i dont really like the default, myself, unless the mod is REALLY (Please refrain from swearing)ty

I'm just saying that if you don't have the original files, you'll have, for instance, whatever the LAW was in the mod you were using, and with won't fit in with the CS mod theme.

Yea the configurator is'nt working for me because it's a class file, so what do I do just put all the weapons in manually, because if it's that I might as well delete it all

I don't really know how to install the mod...the stuff just goes into this 'csmod' folder and then I have no idea what to do next.

Mine says 'JAVA-VERSION' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or hatch file.

Look harder. The file might not have the extension .bat depending on your settings, but the icon should look like a window with a gear in it. If there isn't one, you either deleted it (unlikely, and you could just unzip the file again and it would be there) or by a miracle of probability the .zip file you downloaded was corrupted exactly so that the one file was not there (unlikely*10^31). And did you download the Java Runtime Evironment?

Now I realise that again, I don't have to unzip all the files anymore becuase the weapons just overwrite each other. I had the same problem with a few other people. Now trying to install that Java thing.

If you havent noticed, you can extract the files manually..you dont need the .bat file to play it. Open the "csmod" folder and there is those are all the stuff. Thats if you know how to extract them

OMG i download it and extract file ultimatecsmod.zip to clear soldat folder[only fresh instaled dolsat v1.3 :P]. Next I click on CSmodConfig and...nothing excpet open a black window on a while and it dissapear.I download Java runtime environement and instal it but it still dont want work.Waht i must to do in order to play on this mod with configurator. Please dont tell to extract files out csmod folder because im to lazy.

When the black window opens you must wait and the config turns on.

i'm suprised how muc this mod has been bumped... maybe you should make a new version bmanx... maybe one that makes a weapons.ini file.

The .bat file wont open for me. It pops open a DOS window, closes, then nothing else happens. Any suggestions?

That mod is broken -_-'

1) the .bat opens, and closes immediately, nothing happens (i have java installed).
2) the zip has a unique folder "default" and if i copy it in "Soldat" folder, like is written in readme, the .bat isn't in the same folder of "soldat.exe" !!!

You don't copy default. You copy WAT IS INSIDE DEFAULT. Please, think.

So everytime I try to open the bat file I get this error in a very brief appearance of a command window:

"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: CSModConfig"

Not sure of what I should do next.
