I just finished upgrading my 1.05b servers to 1.10. I added -start to the commandline as per the manual but I noticed two unintended effects:

- Max Players gets overridden with 30
- Server refuses to register in the lobby

Maybe it's just me...

ya, that's a bug. you should post that in the bugs forum.

if you dont want to wait for a patch to fix that, and the max. players isnt too much of a problem then do this:
edit your soldat.ini and change:
Fullscreen=0
Dedicated=1
plus anyother ones you want.
then run the game with only the -start switch. ie: /Soldat/Soldat.exe -start

this will fix the problem with the server not registering with the Lobby, but not the problem with the max. players. =[

Okay, n/m this doesn't exactly fix the problem. I re-tried this and out of 20 trials, it only registered with the Lobby twice. and never with the ASE... ya, so post in the bugs forum. this is definitely a bug.
