How is it possible that I'm getting such low FPS?

3.0 Intel Proc. W/ HT (OCed to 3.6)
Dual channel RAM (2x512)
Nvidia 6800GT Ultra 256MB
Fiber Optic connection

I'm getting 120 FPS in Counterstrike:Source and 60 in Soldat. How is this possible? :(

You either have VSync on when you play Soldat, which limits your FPS via your Refresh Rate and whatnot to prevent shearing, or its the fact that Soldat itself tends to run at about 60 FPS.

Try running Soldat in windowed mode (avoiding the vsync) or disable vsync (google it).

uh heres a solution, SOME GAMES DONT RUN AS HIGH AS IN OTHER GAMES FPS. Ever played a snes emulator on the computer? it runs at average 60 fps. counter strike is 3d dude and is made with more advance technology than soldat. soldats average is 50-70.

PS: i have the same graphic card as you and it does run at a lower average fps than other vid cards, try changing em out or get use to it :)

zambo, you definately can't compare SNES emulators with other games.
It's pretty obvious that the 60fp/s limit is because of vsync.
Counterstrike and Soldat both have the same "idea": They try to reach the highest frame rate as possible. That means, no matter what kind of computer you have, both will use 100% CPU (with vsync disabled).
