ERROR: Power calibration failed.
ERROR: Use option --force to ignore this error.
ERROR: Writing failed.

Thats the error I get when I try to write cds? Anyone got a clue how I could fix it?

Most people say it's because of cheap CDs or a dirty lense.
What kind of CD writer do you have. What program do you use. Which CDs do you use?

I use Nero startsmart, it came with the dvd burner we got, I use a sony cd-rw CRX215E5, I don't know the kind of cds I use cause it really does not say on the cds, I have a picture of them if anyone has the same as me and knows what brand they are http://img89.echo.cx/img89/9581/cd8st.jpg
I think they are a really cheap brand cause my brother bought them for me and he does not have alot of money.

I would first try other cds, if that doesn't work, get one of those lens cleaning cd sets.
