I'm looking to get some training from expirienced players. If you could help that would be great. Played Quake and Unreal alot, but nothing like this.

The only training you need to play a few rounds and familiarize yourself with the controls and the various weapons.
With all things, the beginning will be kinda harsh, but once you get in the groove it all falls into place.

nah, just play public servers for ages, and you will get better.. you may get flamed, but you will eventualy get better :)

play only in [KEG] DM server ;) Good Server, full of noobsm use them as cannon fodder to get better

Try u13 private server (http://u13.net), most of the good players play there regularly...

play public CTF or DM servers. don't play with bots, they suck.

Yeah, every time I come onto the U13 CTF servers there are at least 3 registered players on. Nice tip-learning server ;-)

I have a pretty good experience record...I have been playing this game for nearly three years...

just go on IRC, play gather or try to get into matches.

for publics: 2wai, nbk, #tba, SN are the bests servers

The only way you can get better, is playing for fun, with really good players. It worked for me.
And try to use something unique: either a tactic, or a weapon, or uncalculatable movement.

I would train you because I know many secrets about SOldat but I am cursed with dial-up and I must suck because I been playing with bots like the whole time.
