still get the same thing
is it something to do with my router?
since, i can't access it to open ports, becuase i don't have a static ip
but,
if i run a game just from soldat.exe, not from a dedicated server
poeple can't join it
and another thing, does the dedicated server that comes with 1.2.1 soldat be the latest? or is there one that i need.( that would end my problems)

LOL, changing soldat settings wont fix a damn thing. The port is changed due to your MODEM/ROUTER's configuraton; you need to disable your NAPT (Network Address Port Translation) otherwise you wont get this problem fixed.
If your modem is a D-Link then I may be able to help you.

i got basically the same thing its a DHCP (dynamic host configuration protocol)
see this
http://img7.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc=loc78&image=278_New_Bitmap_Image.JPG
if you cant read it (is an internet protocol for automating the config of computers that use tcp/ip
dhcp can be used to automaticly assign ip adresses)
i don't kno how to change it, i just got my old parents to get it...
if it helps, i use a bellsouth westell router with a ethernet port

DHCP has nothing to do with NAPT...

ok
all i need now is a list of the ports i need to open
and yes, i know there is a list in (how to run a soldat server)
but it is all over the place
i want
port number port type
------------ -----------

23073 TCP (Admin Connections)
23073 UDP (Ingame connections)
23083 TCP (Map downloads)
you must then set Dont_Forward= to 1 in your soldat.ini file.

....
i still can't, but the good this is that now, it uses the same port for each game
50864
another thing is that the ex. box for my server is now a 0
it used to be a 1
i'm gonna try to open those ports like said in the how to run a soldat server part
----------------------------------
ok i did that,
opened
50864 tcp
50864 udp
50874 tcp
but then, when i start a dedicated server,
the port changes. in this case to 50964
then i open those ports
and it changes to 50064
i need to diable that napt thing right?
becuase i can't seem to find it anywhere on my routers configuration the closest thing i can find is NAT which might be it...
i use a bellsouth westell if anyne knows how
and i connetct with a ethernet cable thru a intel pro/100 ve network

NAPT is on your modem. You should go to the 'NAT Rules' page and delete the NAPT rule, then add a rule for "BIMAP".
When I host a server it always shows as 50666 on the lobby, however when I tell somone to join my IP on that port nothing happens, but if they change it to the port that I set in the soldat.ini (23073) they are able to join, so ask one of your friend to try and join on port 23073.
