ok, i have dedicated server 2.9.9 beta

and i have a question

whenever i start a game on dedicated server and i try to join it
i can't becuase in the lobby my ip address and port is wrong

but if i put in my ip adress 192.168.1.97 and the port i opened (23073)
i can join it fine

is there any way i can change soldat dedicated server to list my game under the ip and port adress that i choose?
so poeple can join it.....?

192.168.1.97 is your network IP address, so even if that were the address displayed on the lobby it would not work for anyone else wishing to play online.

If the port is wrong, that would mean that your router is using NAPT (*Looks it up..*) Oh it looks like you were the one with that problem before. So I guess doing what EnEsCe told you is the only solution to fixing the port problem.

quote:but if they change it to the port that I set in the soldat.ini (23073) they are able to join, so ask one of your friend to try and join on port 23073.
So did you do that, and did it work?

yes

the things i have an option to change is

static nat=Set Up an IP Address to be your Default NAT Destination

NAT Table Monitoring

and the other stuff on that page is my ports that i open for games
(like soldat and starcraft and counterstrike)

Try looking on your NAT rules page... all NAT's have a rules page! Thats where the NAPT rule is located.

I told you, the only things on my ruoter that i can change is
DHCP server
ip passthrough
NAT

And the only things on the NAT page
http://img245.echo.cx/my.php?image=newbitmapimage1sn.png

there is nothing about napt

it would help if someone with a bellsouth westell router was here...

pay attention, I still need help

It looks like that screenshot is exactly what you need. Forward the Soldat ports to your internal IP and either give players your dynamic IP or use No-IP to attain a static IP.
