Is there an app around to preview soldat maps...no editting just a simple load the map and view it.

omg how lazy could u get, just go into soldat map maker and zoom out and, walla!

say if I wanna go through 200+ maps...long processsssss.

heh. map maker doesnt go far out enough for my maps. XD

i once saw the default maps in .jpg with bombs and health crates
and stuff painted on them in some sort of a pack...

take soldat polyworks, it has a maximium zoom out of 0,5%, that 30 times more than usual mapmakers

I dont make maps, quite frankly I suuck at it. but just use polyworks to zoom inandout, like Avarax say.

No developers (that I'm aware of) have posted here, so I'm going to give my input. If somebody is willing to create some code that outputs a bitmap from a pms file, I'll give a shot at implementing a Windows Explorer shell extension for thumbnails. Nothing soon, since I'm on vacation and many a mile from my home pc.

Hey, i might make an application for this. You could load the map you wish then zoom to whatever you want then make a snapshot from it.

There is no such application, but it's a very interesting idea! Something showing a gallery (thumbnails) of the maps, like ACDSee or IrfanView...
