and it should also be disabled, people can intentionally mess up the forum layout :O locations outside of the ordinary should also be disabled, since it defeats the purpose of having a location and you can already use signatures for what you're doing

edit: and if the sql injection problem is in any way related to your avatar, then i doubt it's possible

n00bface, I wouldn't have said it was possible unless it was. After I looked around for other possible holes, I googled and found that snitz forums is notorious for being susceptible to SQL injection attacks. I looked at the code for the new version and it looks like the closed the hole.

A PM would have been nice...but I saw what you did and fixed the code. Can you re-test?

yep, fixed. I knew it would be an easy fix since it was just a matter of adding a function call to check the characters used in the Avatar URL. This prevents people from doing stupid crap like I did below my avatar, and also prevents the SQL hole.... I don't know why the forum coders would protect the other URL entries on the profile page, but not the avatar box.
