is there anyway to make transparent polygons? i'm looking for a way to make some water, and i just wanted it transparent so you can see yourself when you're in it. is this possible?

No, you can't make transparent polygons, but transparent scenery you can make. For water, I recommend blank.bmp ;)

Put a collumn. You can give color to scenery. Michal himself used a humongous, blue-colored semi-transparent collumn set to type 2 (in front of everything) for inf_Invasion. Go study and playtest on that map as Alpha team for a bit ;-)
