...it would be fun, but I don't see the purpose of vehicles in a 2d game.

If vehicles were created, I guarantee that they'd all have problems with almost every map, unless there was a vehicle such as a player sized motorcycle, lol. But anyways, NO VEHICLES, NOT NOW, NOT EVER!!

Doomdooer, MM said in his first selfkill interview that he will never implantment any form of transportation into the game. And as long as this game remains closed source, we can't add any, either.

Like anyone actually reads the rules? Even when the rules said "No vehicle threads", there were vehicle threads. In fact, it says search - there are 2 pages of vehicle threads, so it's clear that even if this was in the rules, nobody would read it.

There's only one programmer and he's MM. Like siad above, MM isn't going to add vehicles. Oh, and if you think that it's that easy, go make your own game.

Besides, vehicles don't fit Soldat at all. Really, there is no sence in adding them.

...shut the (Please refrain from swearing) up. Vehicles will never be in Soldat, seeing as Soldaten run fast enough and vehicles don't really have a point in a 2d game other than move forward-backwards.

You never posted how a vehicle would function in a game with such steep polygons & stuff...

No there wont be vehiclez in soldat, because then soldat would have to be 100% reformatted to fit the vehiclez!1 theme. I doubt MM is going to undo all his work just to make his game more trendish like the platform games.

Soldat is not meant to follow the ways of Counter-Strike.

Also, I think that the only reason people ever suggest things like this is because they get bored of Soldat or think that it's dull. WELL IT IS ONLY A 2D GAME LOL

But seriously, I don't mean to flame. Vehicles just don't fit into Soldat. That's just the way it is.

As a noob, I never got into a situation like this because of one fundamental rule: I came to the forums to 'read'. To take part in conversation.

Even if vehicles were made how will it navigate when you usually need your jet boots to get places???The motor vehicle would have to be able to fly which is not realistic....
