Ummmm, question...
When I run a dedicated server...
you know how you can type in
/kick billy
and billy will get kicked?
well billy doesnt get kicked when i do it... lol
even in the actual dedicated server console
any ideas? am i doing it wrong? lol

well thats just my guess:
u actually WROTE:
/kick billy...
u need to do it as a command
click on "/" (where the "?" is)
then write kick billy

Here is what i did:
on the command input line i typed "/kick billy"
what should i do exactly?
i know its really simple im just not seeing it... :P

This was happening to me a few weeks ago when I first started hosting servers. But what I did was type /kick and then find billy's name somewhere in the text above and copy it and paste it on the line next to /kick. I hope that isn't confusing. But it is case sensitive I think, so if you have billy instead of Billy, it won't work. I may be wrong, but this works for me.[:D]

Press the '/' key, then type kick billy

all of those commands are case-sensitive. you have to use /kick Billy to kick him. if you wanted to kick me, /kick toadsmoke won't work, but /kick toadsMoke would work.

ok people it seems that noone bothers reading Cabbage's question. He's talking about a dedicated server.
The solution if you still haven't intuitively figured it out is to go to that little menu to yr right with all the players names etc, right click on the player to be kicked, select kick (or ban) and that's it! (version 1.1.1)
