This is very strange.

I have correctly set up my router and firewall. Forwarding on ports 23073 and 23083 TCP and UDP. Opened firewall on same ports.

Using dedicated server 1.2.1 beta 2.2.9 I create a server - logs follow:

-----------------------------------------------
server IP: 192.168.1.2 port: 23073
connection for file server: 15
registering server @ lobby.soldat.pl
registering server @ selfkill.com
game server added to lobby server @ 213.202.214.144
game server added to lobby server @ 65.113.210.3
registering server @ 65.113.210.3
time left: 15 minutes
-------------------------------------------------

I try to use the admin tool to log on, but I can only connect using 127.0.0.1 and not the ip addresses as above.

Running another copy of soldat, my server does not appear in the internet section of lobby server, but it does appear in local.

Using whatismyip.com, I also find out that my IP is 84.64.2.175

Furthermore, 213.202.214.144, the IP from the dedicated server log, is actually the IP of an existing server (not mine).

Now I think you can understand that I am more than a little confused. Im not particularly stupid when it comes to computers, but this is just silly.... Can anyone help or see whats going wrong?

EDIT: also include soldat.ini and server.ini from my dedicated server folder.

213.202.214.144 is the IP of selfkill.com just as 65.113.210.3 is the IP of lobby.soldat.pl

The IP you should attempt to connect to through the admin client is 192.168.1.2

Go to network settings in Soldat and where it says Connection, switch it from LAN to Internet and check the box that says "Register in Lobby Server".

OK I can connect to the dedicated server as admin now.

The "internet" and "register in lobby" buttons are already selected though, and it still doesnt register in lobby.

Even if it doesnt show in the lobby, and assuming it works, what IP would people use to connect to it with?

There is a bug that prevents the server from being registered in the lobby after a while (It's fixed in the next version), but you should still check this URL to see if your server has registered.

84.64.2.175 (If that's what whatismyip.com is telling you)
