Hmmmmmm... well yeah i wouldnt mind make more of these.

The point of my comics is that it shall be versatile, so i can make fun of whatever i want. so this "Survival Guide" can be my point of view on soldat... ;)

However it took a while making this, but thats the point, dont make a comic unless you are willing to spend time on it.

I used Macromedia Flash Mx 2004 professional, i hand drawed the comic on paper, scan it in to the compy, then i traced it in flash, and later on added lightning effects, shading, text and so on..

aight... I dont understand sh*t of flash

So did i the first time i used it too..... :P

zegovia, i reccommend instead of converting the flash files to .jpg, you leave them as .swf files. that way, they'd be higher quality and smaller in size.

sorry to go farther off-topic, but it's not madness, although it is inspired (it's called insanity :D). madness has a cross face instead of a line, the hands are very detailed, and the madness dudes have feet, mine just slide around on the ground, due to my lack of flash skills :P

There is no artist that hasnt ben instpired by others (ive had doussins of inspiration sourceses!!), i had a style simillar to madness before, it whas for a REALLY short time, they had faces and where more detailed, and the feet wherent sticked to their bodies :P. Untill i setteld on my current style.

UPDATE!!! This time about the mp5, i alwayas finds it anoying when you play with the mp5 for a longer time, and then move on to something like the minimi, minigun or even the barret. When you just on reaction press the reload key when you have just fired a few rounds, wasting valuable time and leaving yourself more open than gutted pig!! XP

And about the disadvantage of music.... i whas thinking about making a comic about that, but i hardly think there is any advantages in it, you become less aware of your enviroment.... but you do keep yourself entertained.

I use music all the time and i think it helps. It just seems easier to shoot someone when you have some guy yelling in your ear.

Yeah, it does set you in the mood and on a pace, and "It inspires me in battle" as one of my clan members said half-joking.

When i think of it, your right.... when i play against my bro in any game (Soul calibur, SSBM etc.) while Hammerfall's "hearts on fire" are playing, i dont stand a chance!!! its like Sterioids in sound format!!

As for this comic, for so far, all my comics so far always ended with someone getting hurt/killed/slaughtered or someone that is about to become that. In the end i thought that would be kinda booring if all the comics had the same ending, so i twisted this one a bit..

And now for something completley diffrent!

Every comic artist may experience the scenario when you come up with a hilarious joke, and while youre at it making the comic, you think through the dialouge over and over again numerous numbers of times. in the end youll get tierd of it and dont think its just as funny anymore.... So take caution!

Okay ill be onnest, i took an serious break from the S.S.G these last serveral months, i felt for making other stuff, but then once yesterday i read through this tópic and saw all of your nice comments again "-OMFG PRO PLZ MAKE MOORE!!". so i decided to start making em again. :P

These past weeks ive been playing alot of playing card games, Munchkin for the most (check it out, its great!), and i dunno it kinda influenced me when i started making this one. the back story is kinda like a desperate (or villainously evil!) act of MM to gain some extra money by trying to counter the Trading card market, with some mixed in blatant advertising..... but hey! seriously, a Soldat TCG would be kinda fun.....*COUGH!!*not*COUGH!* :P

My god, I actually would buy that crap. That way I could show up that nerdy person I know about who has cooler trading cards. Sure, Magic has a reference in Startcraft, but Soldat: TCG would make him seem really stupid. Why would you want to use some [CENSORED]-ass fireball when you can use some [CENSORED]-ass helicopter weapon? (Rimfire minies are so more practical)

these comics rock! i try to make some of my own.....im good drawer but i have little problem..i can draw cars, guns, houses etc. (my friends say they look almost real) but everytime i try to draw humans they look like some creepy aliens..and if i ever get a decent human drawed it looks like sh*t in the next box....xD

its not just an fax, its a multi purpouse printer (scanner, printer, copieator and fax in one...).... though i only use the scanner on it, damn i hope itll be back soon!!! >.<

And when I came back, I was reading through the new episodes that had been created in my absence, when I saw S.S.G #10 No Reason. Zegovia, I was just wondering where you got the idea for the last couple frames of that comic, because it looks like you got it from Madness Combat (Apotheosis) "No regret. No remorse. No reason. Only Madness." I personally love the series, in fact, my comic the I mentioned before was actually in Madness Combat style. Pretty crazy. Keep up the good work man.

Im also a madness fan though i didnt knew that text i wrote whas so damn simillar, i must have done it subcounsiously.... O.O'

But still it does specify soldat quite correct, no reason at all, just mayhem to the fullest.... ^^

As for the #13, i got my concept done for it, all i have to do now is to draw the damn thing and scan it..... Itll be called B.A.D.... ;)

dude you make some awesome comics, may I suggest you make a swf file with animation comics. Make it like a comic book, with the style almost like a japanese cartoon. That would be kick ass and not too much harder.

Yeah i do have some inspiration from anime/manga in my drawing style, i also read almost to much manga (japanese comics) so i get a akward feeling when i read european comics again... :P

As for animations, im horrible at doing animations, even though i draw using a program wich you can animate with (flash 8), ive never even taken effort into it....

Well didn't you say before that you hand draw the whole comic, then just scan it into Flash to trace and color? You might have said you used photoshop for coloring, I'm not sure.

You could draw it, blow it up, and let people pan over it, like they were reading a comic book.

Yes i did, i use flash for the entire prosses, tracing, shading, colouring etc.

I sure wanna have photoshop, since i would be able to make better effects and such, but iven i i did get it, it would take a while for me to get used to it... :P

Im having a so called APU, wich means that im having a so called practic edjucation at a real job, so i will get a feel how the real workmarket would feel like.

Im working at a butchery, where we refine meat products and pack it up and send it of to people and stores (duh?).

Its quite a hard work, you have to keep a fast pace all the time, so i end up being quite exausted when i get home. :P

thats the reason for the delay for #14, i will hopefully finish it (yeah im done with the hand draw part, i just have to colour the damn thing...) this weekend..

I dont know how many times ive told this, theyre hand drawn pics that are traced using flash... :P

Dont worry, i have a good idea for #17...

Any time that I've encountered a barret facing the wrong way, I /piss on them. When they spot the yellow spray in front of them, most get confused and once I got a 'wtf' out of one. Usually they get up to turn around though, and that's when I blast them with a spas before they can let loose death on my chest.

But still, that was a sexy comic, and a very true one at that. I love how uniquely you added in the screenshot thing xD

I have sweet news everybody, on may the 10th i became 19, and thus, i got photoshop from my friends as a gift, so someday from now, when i get used to it, ill be making the SSG with photoshop. and hopefully ill be able to put in even more special effects into it! :D

#17 is out to the public, i whas thinking of in wich ways the small soldats have been killed, theyve been cutted, stabbed, gunned, smashes, dismemberd, gutted open and so on but they have not ben toasted or burned... so i wanted to complete the list. :P

i sorta feel sorry for those people that has taken a break from soldat and consider starting again, without checking wich changes the current version has.. >:3

"dont spark a flame war" You have a guy with barret and soccom standing there. He has soccom out. Around him are teammates with all kinds of autos. He says "why do you use different autos, arent they all the same?" they reply "what do you mean!!! mp5 ownz!!!" "NO its all STEYR" "AK" then the guy says "hahaha its all barret newbs lol" and pulls out barret and fires. then they all shoot him and his shot goes way off cause they distorted his aim and he starts to swear then he dies. das my idea.

#17 is the funniest thing evar. I'm serious, I laugh every time I look at that. The "NOW BURN!!" line is a work of genius. Pure comic gold.

One time, I was camping with the Barrett, missed, and then got killed while the camera was still scrolling along with the shot. I'm serious. Thought you might be able to use something like that.

AWSM...#17 is so funny (like every comic you have made)...ever thought of making a site for these (freewebs etc)...im thinking of making my own comic..thought i would use screens from the game...(few of my friends could be "actors")...im good drawer..BUT...i cant draw humans :)

#18 is done, anyone experienced when you have hard to koncentrate after several hours of gaming that makes it a pain to perform well in game. I sure do it often, but as many should know, taking a break from it a few hours can work miracles!! Food and rest is a plus to!

Its more of an common survival tip.....Rest, nutrition and regular breaks!! :D

To be onnest, its kinda hard to bring in a decent tip or advice for playing soldat and at the same time keeping it funny, violent and original... sometimes i just feel like that alittle funny pointless joke cant harm anyone... ^^
