I got Worms3D yesterday and I must say it's a rather crap game IMO. The fact it has an unchangeable inverted Y-AXIS makes aiming difficult. This may bring the topic to a 'not so good worms3d player' but it is quite difficult. Throwing a grenade is hard to achieve as you have no sense of the distance of your enemy. Even harder is using the ninja rope - you have to be facing in the exact correct direction with the funny y-axis which makes it near impossible.

Some of you may be pro Worms3D players but again IMO it is a crappy game (2D verisons are much better).

I bought worms3d for PS2 a few months ago, anmd i must agree its a crap game. The worms sgame just doesnt have that same kind of fun that was in those 2d games

Worms 3D wasn't so great, but all the people who've beta tested Worms 4: Mayhem, almost all of whom are very respectable and believable people, say it breathes life back into the series. They say Worms 3D was seriously like a beta release of W4.

I have played Worms 3D frequently on lan here (3-4 players). All I can say is that we enjoy playing it. Perhaps you should find yourself some friends and play it in multiplayer. That's where the real fun of worms is at :)

Yup, I tried Worms 3d, and behind all the shiny and jaggy graphics, its just a crappy game. Hitting someone becomes a game of luck instead of skill, and most of the time, the game gets repetitive since making combos is much harder to pull off. Worms Armageddon is the best so far.

STEELIX: Worms World Party is very similar only more recent. Different modes to choose from such as fort mode and other neat options. Not a big change really.

I got this update v3.6.25.1a and i have XP. Just read through and find the right patch for your version of Worms.

Worms Armageddon for GAme Boy Colour is the only Worms game I trust myself to play.

Worms 4 demo is out, I'm going to DL it today.
My hopes are really up for that :d

Worms 3d wasen't GREAT, but it was fun. Near the end we were doing what we always do. 4 players, 4 diffrent corners of the map, rapid rising water right away. Fun to try and survive, and you only get girders and parachutes. If you want a weapon you have to get a crate. 1 worm only, 200 hp. It was extremely fun. Worms 4 is great as well. Well the demo is.

Worms 4 is actually quite good :) Much better then I anticipated once i got the feel for the controls

I used to play worms on occasion back when I played Liero, and I can't imagine Worms being 3d. Souds like it would suck. First of all, wasn't Worms turn-based? How would that work? I guess you could do it, but I've never seen a turn based 3d game. Plus, I can see how the ninja rope would be a huge pain in the ass in 3D mode.
