(registered game maker 6 required. if someone could make this an .mp3 or .it file, that would be nice.)

i was really bored, so i made a kind of beat thing out of the soldat sounds. it starts out horrible, but it gets better.

if someone you know has a microphone or a direct output->input cable (possibly yourself), could they (or you) please convert it to .mp3? and if someone else you know (possibly the same person who could make the .mp3) has an ImpulseTracker file maker, that would work too.

EDIT: here's the .mp3 compiled by darknoddy: [URL]

You can record it yourself (directly on your sound card) or you can make an .exe of the gamemakerfile

^#2: i was thinking of making an .exe, but that would be too big.

#1: i know i sound like a complete idiot asking this, but, how?
(i tried the Nullsoft CD/LineIn plug-in v2.0 in winamp, couldn't figure it out.)

Do you know how to get into your mixer settings? If you do, go to options, select record, select stereo mix, open windows recorder, play the file, and record with the program.

volume control.

and if that doesnt work (its not working in most cases), you can just play it through gm6, and record it with a mic close to your speakers.
alittle premitive but does the trick ;P

1- Get audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
2- and get this plug-in http://www.webhostxpress.net/%7Emitiok/lame-3.96.1.zip
3- Unzip the file and put lame_enc.dll somewhere noticable
4- Open the volume control panel -->Options--->Settings---->Record--> Ok
5- Tick the Stereo mix bar
6- Run the gm6 file and record it with audacity then export it as mp3 , it will ask you for the location of the lame_enc.dll, just put the location.

Hope that helps

^registered gamemaker 6, the soldat sounds, that's it. 55 minutes if you meant timewise.

EDIT: in the gamemaker version, the inf dong noise fades from speaker to speaker, creating a great effect.

There are definately some parts in the song that sound good, but there aren't many.

The best part IMO was when the ruger and shotgun were goin' back and forth. :)

It's ok, a lot of it sounded kinda off-time, though.

^off-time, i know, i blame game maker. if i had a 16-track program, it would be fine, but noooo, i had to use game maker...

Repetitive. Didn't really notice any definate tune other than random guns repeating.

Bit strange, but the tune is catchy.

i think a second attempt could make more of a definitive rhythm to it. this one really didnt have much, and ususally i would hear those kindsa things.

Good work mate. I liked the bits where it had good rhythm. Some of it sounded like one of those tap dancers, only with major lag. Keep it up and make a second one with more rhythm like FliesLikeABrick says.

Wow, you mean to tell me I stopped listening to Bananas and Blow to listen to that? You owe me one minute of your life, or 3000 dollars, whichever is worth more.
