The idea is simple. There will be only one flag inthe middle of the map and both teams must try and get the flag and score before the other teams does.

But hey, where to score if there is only one flag?

There could be flag on both sides, like the white infiltration one.

Simple and fun. Great idea.

flag in center of map.
both teams try to get flag.
for every 5 seconds a team holds onto the flag, they get a point.

viola. btw, it's a combonation of the bogus king of the hill mode, and your idea.

come to think of it, there could be four teams doing this. when setting up the server, the host could specify how many, and which teams play.

I like it, but there will be too many people using miniguns. Which is not fun at all. Well, maybe it is for the first time <.<
A fundamental addition in my opinion, is to add a function that, when someone captures the flag, swaps the team spawns. That way the team without the flag (let's say, bravo) will have to stop the other from reaching their own 'base' flag, task that would be quite hard if they keep spawning in their normal place (by the time they spawn, the other team would have capped already).
Once someone from bravo touches the flag when no one is holding it, the spawns are set back to normal and the flag is returned to the center. It'd be really awesome.
Without these conditions, I think it'd turn into teams going back and forth with little action, except in the middle, because that's the only place where teams meet.
Only cons: needs to have maps of it's own. Which are easily made anyhow.

Yeah. I would like to see that too. It's a shame that Pointmatch isn't really known, when it is one of the funniest game mode.

Something like domination in UT, I like it, nice idea. But as some people say it would probably be campers paradisio. :)))

theres always campers, i just knife them :P

Campers can not be problem, just dodge when you see them, throw nades, do everything you can :p
