Guys, if you're constantly complaining about various people irritating you on the forums (Mickle, Aznblood, to name a few) why do you provoke them? All you're doing is fuelling the fire.

I am constantly encountering topics that are turned into spam-infested pits, not because of posts made by the individuals mentioned above, rather due to the vast postings in reaction to that persons post. With all honesty, you are worse then they are and are constantly ruining topics because of your childish persistence in attacking them wherever and whenever. Even the smallest and harmless post is met with criticism and totally useless spam.

It's pretty damn obvious that you don't really hate them; in fact you enjoy their presence and thrive on harassing them. If they really are purposely trying to annoy the community then attention is all they seek and by giving it to them they are succeeding in their little game. If that's the case, which I don't think it is (not anymore at least), just ignore them and they will eventually go away. Flag any stupid posts/topics they may make and they will be dealt with accordingly.

Other than that, you are just making matters worse.

We don't normally provoke them, Hitman. In many cases, they will start something that is stupid or lame on their own, (the recent mickle topic from aznblood, and BOTH mickle story threads). I agree that SOME of the forum members here do enjoy attacking them for small, insignificant and ultimately stupid reasons. Even I have found that if I am aggravated, I will join in the cyber beatdown to give myself a boost. And if attention is really what they seek, then I do admit that ignoring them would be the thing to do. But it's too late for that now. They already know that they can get a reaction from the people here, they know that it's difficult for them to be ignored, and that sooner or later, someone is going to give them their time of day to reply. Eventually, they might go away, but it's faster and more effective to make them do so. If driving them away by force is what is neccesary to bring our forums back to civilization, then so be it.

We may be making matters worse, but they made it bad in the first place. Please remember that and take your frustration out accordingly.

I dont enjoy the attacking and spam. I simply made a topic in the BASHPIT to create a story.

Wow, Hitman, I love you. I tried to make a post like this once, but it ended up a big ball of anger.

Either way, the best advice I can give is to just not respond to them if you don't like the way they're acting. I know this may be a bit hypocritic coming from me, but it's probably the best way to avoid the conflict. You could also take it head on, but that usually makes matters worse. If you see a stupid topic, don't even click on it. Stupid post? Nope, just scroll on down.

Also, I agree with Chakra on the fact that not many of us are actually worth paying attention to anymore ...

Seriously, "LOOK AT MY, IM FUNNY BECAUSE I CAN TYPE IN CAPS AND DO THIS: LOLZOZLZOLOLAIOOLLOL" is not going to cut it.

That was how we got rid of Mickle the first time. We were pretty sure that he would not have returned after our rather thorough display of public hostility towards him. Yet he returned, albeit slightly improved, but still sometimes acting like a pre-pubescent flamer. Even without flagging posts or reporting to the admins, the mods and styx should have realized our feelings towards mickle, and certain other members. Now, I'm not blaming them for letting these members remain, but isn't it there job to make sure that these forums remain free from those who repeatedly break the rules? Since no offcial action has been taken against them, it seems that it's in our hands to get rid of these "scum".

I agree with you there, and I am hopeful that these actions have been done. But while our requests are being processed, I don't see why we have to stand for them continuing to defile our society. If we can get rid of them faster, then more power to the people.
